Mariska Leeflang is an assistant professor at the Department of Clinical Epidemiology, Biostatistics and Bioinformatics, Academic Medical Center, Amsterdam. She specializes in methodological research in test evaluation. In 2008 she received her PhD in systematic reviews and meta‐analyses of diagnostic test accuracy. In 2010 she was awarded a highly competitive Dutch VENI scheme grant for research into comparative accuracy meta-analyses. Mariska was involved in the introduction of diagnostic test accuracy reviews in the Cochrane Collaboration and coordinates a course on medical test evaluation for PhD students in the AMC.
