Tuition Fees

The rate for master’s programmes in 2019/2020 was €333 (tuition fees €243 + CVEC €90). Higher education is subsidized by the French government, hence its relatively low cost for students. Fees for the year 2020/2021 have not been announced yet.

More information can be found here: Why is the cost of studies low in France?

However, starting in autumn 2019, international students in France will be charged higher fees.

For more information, go to: Tuition fees (in English) or: Tuition fees (in French).

Despite the decision from the French government to change the regulations concerning the registration fee for non-European students, the Paris Descartes University decided not to adhere to these new regulations and thus voted unanimously that non-European students will pay the same registration fee as French students.

Please note that indicated amounts do not include accommodation fees, monthly living expenses, educational materials, travel expenses, visa fees and health insurance (further information about medical coverage and the registration process for foreign students).
